The Plum Village app can support us to cultivate mindfulness, compassion and joy through guided meditations, deep relaxations, practice poems, bells of mindfulness and many other practices.


Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing. We bring our body and mind into harmony while we wash the dishes, drive the car or take our morning shower.

Under the ‘practices’ tab there are 12 practices which can help us to improve our mindfulness in everyday life. Some practices are written by Thich Nhat Hanh, while some are in audio form for you to listen to. You’ll be able to download each one of these to access at any time offline. Some of the everyday mindfulness practices include:

Under this tab you’ll find 10 guided meditation categories, each of which contains several sub-categories for you to enjoy. Guided meditations & relaxation sessions are all in audio form and you can take them with you anywhere as they’re all available offline.


There are meditations for everybody, no matter your reason for meditating, how busy you are, or if you are new to the practice or have been practicing for many years.
